Low key, laid back, last minute... well, at least a few people took advantage of the opportunity to improve their top 4 sprint scores for the club sprint series. A few people tried the White course. And Laura Casey from the Oakland Tribune came to report on it. She gave our A-meet and Golden Gate Getaway a mention in a feature article on orienteering.
Thank you to Jim Fish and Vicki Woolworth for setting fun courses — the sprint took you back and forth, and all over, and so did the White. Then Jim and Vicki basically ran the event! Jim on the Finish, Vicki on the registration and starts. Really, everyone who showed up helped a bit.
Thanks, also, to Steve Gregg for being the co-event director.
